Mike, this is great set of photos that you chose to share from your trip! Several of them kept my attention for quite some time. The black and white photo of the Moon over Grapevine Hills showed an amazing amount of detail in the Moon. The photo outside of La Kiva was great, as I had been there 25 years ago, and had forgotten all about it. You really do a great job of capturing the early morning and late evening light in your photography. Were all of these photos taken with your Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera? Thanks again for posting these! The scope of my report was to monitor the impact of the April sewage spill on the river and its recovery. I used three measures of pollution to give a profile of this stretch of the river, and compared before, during and after the pollution event and the intervention, so it was not exclusively TDS and Suspended Solids. I am aware of how the pollution moves downstream and the changes that take place. The declining turbidity as the river flows shows the suspended material is aggregating and coming out of suspension, which causes problems further downstream where it accumulates. Edmundo Hur

What a wonderful achievement to get the kids thinking, learning and producing and making it such fun. I have seen Mandi working with little kids and she gets their attention and is really tuned into them and they make wonderful artworks.
